Our Team Cooperative
Leonie Morris
Founder
Leonie is the founder of Pups and Paws Prevention C.I.C. She lives in Falmouth, Cornwall, with her husband Neil and two Romanian rescue dogs called Annie and Button, whom she adopted through Pennypaws Rescue. Leonie worked in health and social care for over twenty years in both the local authority, private and charitable sectors. She now runs a Guest House with a focus on sustainable tourism. She runs Pups and Paws Prevention on an entirely voluntary basis and donates all profits to her charity partners. Leonie is passionate about animal welfare, in-particular preventative work such as sterilisation campaigns to reduce over-population. She has been integral to facilitating and fundraising in respect of Pennypaws Rescue sterilisation campaigns abroad. She has completed a Canine Trauma and Attachment course and Veterinary-approved Dog Health and Welfare Certificate.
Neil Morris
Festival/Markets Site Manager
Neil is Leonie's husband and a qualified site construction manager. He holds a site safety certificate including fire/scaffolding/traffic inspector/marshalling and advanced first aid. Neil is essential to erecting gazebos, stalls, lifting stock and ensuring public safety at events! Neil is a passionate animal lover himself and loves nothing more than spending time with his two beloved rescue dogs Annie and Button. Every winter Neil volunteers hands-on with donkeys at a shelter in Portugal.
Linda and Greg Crowhurst
Creative and Artistry Collaborators
Linda has suffered with a severe, incurable neurological disease for many years. Her husband Greg is her primary carer. Together they are a tour de force. Sharing their experiences eloquently and passionately to ensure not only theirs, but the voices of others in a similar situation are not suppressed. Greg and Linda are passionate dog lovers. And experienced in professional workplaces, artistry and creativity.
Linda is a skilled artist. In drawing dogs, in infrequent moments of ability, she is able to capture how special and precious each dog is and how much they deserve to be loved.
Greg, a registered nurse who has devoted his life to caring for Linda, was rightly awarded a runners-up place in the Nurse of the Year Awards 2015 organised by the British Journal of Nursing. Below are the links to the Stonebird Website created to raise awareness of Linda's struggles and also a link to Linda's artistry website.

Annie
Canine Consultant
Annie is an exceptional canine contributor. A sharp eye for detail, especially when it comes to squirrels, we need her level of quick-witted inspiration. Saved by Pennypaws Rescue, from certain death at the Lancram Kill Shelter in Romania, Annie reminds us all what it means to be resilient and forgiving.
Zoey Nettleingham and Jonathan Slatter

Button
Canine Consultant
"Because wherever Annie goes, I must follow." Button is most concerned about where his latest snack is coming from (think Joey from the Friends series). He was also rescued by Pennypaws Rescue and does as he's told by Annie, his friend and partner in crime. Button has experienced signifcant PTSD due to early puppy experiences. He reminds us all that trauma and loss affect not only humans but animals too.
